Camp Lone Star has a publication that goes out twice a year to their entire mailing list of nearly 15,000 people. It includes information about what's happening at camp to keep donors, campers, and churches updated. I had the opportunity to revamp the format and branding of this publication, and have been the designer of the last three volumes. 
Development Council Booklet
Towards the end of every summer, Camp Lone Star hosts their Development Council Weekend in which all the development council comes for fellowship, meetings, a banquet to celebrate the year, and the annual barbeque fundraiser. I was tasked with creating the booklet for the members that weekend. It included a schedule for the weekend, information on staff, as well as annual reports to be discussed in meetings.
Barbecue Weekend 2023
Camp Lone Star hosts an annual Barbecue Weekend fundraiser. Campers, parents, staff, development council, and members of the community are invited for a worship service, barbecue meal, and a live and silent auction. I created a social media post to advertise the weekend as well as a shirt. The post was used in Instagram and Facebook promotional advertisements that boosted our attendance.

Brand Guide
Camp Lone Star had some existing branding when I started. This included logo variations, a small color palette, and typefaces. I wanted to further build out their visual identity and document their branding for future use. In this process, I added more colors to their palette, better defined the rules for logo and typeface usage, and added social media and photography guidelines. A brand guidelines document was used to compile and visually represent this information.
Social Media
During my internship, I revamped the camp's social media. I redesigned a profile picture as well as the story covers with the new brand colors. To keep the images consistent, I made presets in Lightroom and templates in Illustrator for graphics. I learned more about social media management including what content performs better and what times of day/the week are best to post, etc.
